DESCRIPTION:

Embark on a luxurious cruise aboard a catamaran and spend a memorable day on one of the most spectacular islands of Mauritius!

Your day will begin with a refreshing light continental breakfast, consisting of viennoiseries (pastries) and tea/coffee, served on the catamaran.

The catamaran will then take you on a breathtaking 1.5 hour journey across the crystal-clear turquoise waters of our lagoon, followed by the deep blue of the Indian Ocean until you reach the white sandy shores of Ile Plate. On the way, you will be able to view and take photos of the iconic Coin de Mire island from up close. The Coin de Mire is by far the most photographed island of Mauritius, its beckoning photos gracing many travel magazines and tourism brochures.

Once on Ile Plate, the staff will guide you through a short 15 minute walk to the Governor’s House secluded area. You can immediately start soaking up the sunshine on the sun beds at your disposal or go for a dip in the refreshing lagoon. At around 11:45am, the apéritifs (drinks) menu will be available to you. Enjoy top-notch service and unlimited drinks from the beach bar such as mojitos, rum, beers, and soft drinks while you relax on the beach. And if you’re feeling a little peckish, you will be able to enjoy delicious appetizers such as smoked marlin canapés, an exotic octopus salad, and traditional lentil and boucanée.

At around 12:00pm (noon), you will be served a plated gourmet lunch at the Governor’s House restaurant, housed in historic ruins from the 19th century. You can enjoy the delectable selection of barbecued fish, seafood, and meat and exotic salads. A choice of carefully selected wines will also be available to you. Lunch will be followed by a tropical dessert of seasonal fruit and rum arrangé, flavoured and aged rum, a Mauritian specialty that you will relish.

The friendly and professional crew members will then serve you a delicious barbecue lunch and drinks on board the catamaran near Ile aux Cerfs.
