Customer Photos: Mauritius South West Day Tour
We absolutely love it when clients send us photos of their Mauritius activities! We recently had a very fun group of clients from the UK who booked a Mauritius tour package with us. Here are some photos of their private 8-hour excursion of the South West.
Our driver picked them up from their Bed and Breakfast in an air-conditioned minibus and drove the group to the following spots. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!
Grand Bassin sacred lake:
- Grand Bassin crater lake.
- Statue of a Hindu god at Grand Bassin.
- Monkeys at Grand Bassin.
- 33 meters tall statue of Shiva at the Grand Bassin.
Chamarel coloured earth site and the waterfalls:
- Seven coloured earth site.
- The beautiful Chamarel Falls.
Trou-aux-Cerfs dormant volcano (near Curepipe):
- View of the mountain ranges from Trou-aux-Cerfs.
- Lush greenery in the crater of the volcano.
Black River Gorges:
- View of the Black River Gorges National Park
I make it a duty to walk to Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao) each year. Well, this festival is also a tourist attraction. I request everyone visiting Mauritius during the Mahashivratree period- generally in February/ March to make for this journey absolutely a must. You will spend awesome moments!
